When I joined a gym in February 2017 after my doctor instructed me to start strength and conditioning training or risk facing bone density loss/breakage as I age I luckily found Barry Horton. He was working at that time at a local gym. I had never had experience working with a trainer or going to a gym with any regularity. Well, that certainly has changed.
Barry’s kind yet firm way of getting people motivated to not only want to participate in physical fitness activities and exercise but become committed to doing it regularly is remarkable. His bootcamp classes have become something I look forward to for the vigorous yet fun complete work out. Each class is different so it is never boring, in fact I also cant wait to see what kind of routine he has devised for us each time. Barry’s patience with his students is remarkable as well and he is always making sure that people are doing the exercises correctly so as not to injure themselves. He also has instilled the concept of teamwork into all his clients too. We cheer for the beginners and the more physical adept encourage the newcomers and older participants for their accomplishments. It’s the spirit of the effort that each person puts into it that is celebrated each time.
I would recommend Barry Horton and his “B ALL ABOUT YOUR BODY” to anyone serious about making a real commitment to exercise and a healthy lifestyle. He’s a fantastic trainer with a great attitude, compassion and the unique quality of being able to be friendly yet firm.

Barry Horton is a superior trainer and master of his craft. He and I have worked together since May 2017, and, in the beginning, I was just one step up from a couch potato. Barry met me at my start level but continually worked to take me up a notch. He creates training programs that are individualized and challenging, always ensuring that I am working hard and seeing results. He is passionate and dedicated, cheering me on even while he is kicking my butt! I am thankful that he was recommended to me, and count myself lucky to have him on my team.
